Will Gordon browns kids be getting it? I doubt it. Too much information regarding the testing (or lack of) coupled with a head doctor in the US wanting to lower population by means of an air bourne virus.

To Jackie - Your a health worker, and by getting vaccinated you are endangering all that you work around. Do a search on Shredding. This vaccination will be the cause of a real pandemic.

Flu vaccines never work very well. The virus mutates too fast for any vaccine to be effective..

Great, the anti-vaccine tinfoil-hat brigade is at it again ("No, I don't trust it"). What about, "No, I'm not getting it, because it has all been overhyped; the swine flu is no more dangerous than the regular flu (do your research)"?

I have a compromised immune system and had the H1N1 virus back in May. That was three weeks of horrible horrible suffering that I hope I never have to endure again. Nor do I want anyone I know and love to suffer like that. So I will do my part in vaccinating myself for prevention. I also work in a community health clinic, and we're urging all our patients and staff to vaccinate, too. If you can avoid being exposed to it, then do it by all means necessary. In addition to prevention for you, it's prevention for others. It's not fair to others to be a carrier and expose others. Be a public health promoter, not a risk factor.

I voted no for the same reason as Jean. I'm young and in good health so I feel it is unnecessary. And my general feeling toward the seasonal flu shot for years has been if I'm going to be taken down by a virus that is not generally lethal among healthy young adults, I obviously wasn't strong enough to have my genes carry on.

It's a new vaccine, my family will not be used as guinea pigs. We are strong, and very healthy. I'm stocking up w/ basic supplies such as ginger, liquids, chicken stock,Excedrin, and a good thermometer.

I agree with Elaine. It's not just about trust, but just general good sense. H1N1 vaccine was created too quickly for me to feel comfortable with it. That said, this is the first year I will be immunizing myself and my kids for the seasonal flu, as our pediatrician (who is very holistic minded) suggested that it was safe and useful. I guess as the swine flu mutates with seasonal strains, it helps to have some immunity against those.

Won't take the flu shot or vaccine. I used the homeopathic remedy as a vaccine and have had great results for years. The flu vaccine was rushed through without thorough and long-term testing.

I voted no not because I don't trust it but I don't believe injecting manufactured germs into my body.

I voted no but it has nothing to do with trust. I've never had a flu shot, I am in great health, my immune system is not compromised and I almost never get sick. I work in an industry where I am exposed to coughing sniffling sneezing people all the time. I just don't think I NEED it.
