I know first hand that Australians are NOT racist. I am an African-American woman that recently returned from 5 months of travel in Australia and they are the most loving, laid-back, accepting people I have ever met after traveling to 21 countries in the past 4 years. It was the 1st place I have ever visited where people did not see color and I was accepted for me. Only African Americans would understand why black-face antics are considered racist due to the ridiculous amount of racism in the USA. We need to clean up the racist mess in our own back yard before criticizing another country such as Australia.

this is ridiculous. I grew up there, moved from South Africa and now live in America...not by choice. If it were up to me I would be home in Australia because I don't have to worry about racism (too much) and there is less violence because of it. I'm not saying it doesn't exist, but Aussie's are easy going, laid back, and relaxed type of people. This is purely a 'gag' im sure there is nothing behind it and they probably went and had a beer afterwards and forgot all about it. Should white people be offended by the movie "White Chicks" because two black men dressed up as white women? NO. it was all in fun. Get over it, move on, there are more positive things to think about and focus our energy on in this world..... NNNEEEEXXXTTT.....
