First of all, I am stunned that CatSitterintheCity.com didn't top your list. I am also surprised that Dlisted, which includes some great cat coverage, didn't make it.
Holy shit!! D-Listed didn't make the list??? This is THE BEST celebrity/pop culture site out there! Michael K is pure comedic gold. This list is all sorts of fuckery.
The "site" didn't get the readers to do this. It was our personal project.

Dlisted this Dlisted that. Very few people actually care about celebrity gossip sites. They don't stand a chance against any kind of tech blog or actual news blog anyways, would just be a waste of space just like the other celebrity gossip sites already listed.

D LISTED!!! It's witty, well-written and MK is not out to become a celebrity himself, unlike that other one with the pink background.
Dlisted is the premier gossip blog. Even RuPaul mentioned it on his Drag Race show. Michael K is funnier and better than hypocrite Perez Hilton.
Ars Technica should absolutely be on this list.

Ars Technica should have been included. It's a very influential technology blog, but with quality, magazine-like articles.
No doubt 90% of the Dlisted whiners are here because the site had a rally. I don't think that a gossip blog deserves to be on the list at all. We should celebrate something a lot less superficial, and not cater to the lowest common denominator of society.

DListed is an awesome blog and the writer of DListed Michael K is much loved by the commenters.
The others are not exaggerating when they insist that Michael K's dListed is the BEST blog and the only one I check everyday of the week for the witty and rollicking social and celebrity commentary.
