Anyone with any degree of integrity would completely understand that the difference would need to be paid. If we find a billfold with money inside, do we keep it, or do we find the rightful owner and return it? If the situation were reversed, and the woman had been overcharged for her car purchase by $6,000, would she expect to be properly reimbursed? I expect she would.
