I'm a writer, speaker, marketing consultant and self-taught geek. I worked in IT media for more than 20 years, five of them as editor-in-chief of Computerworld. Since 2006 I've been focused on social media, which marries my interests in media and technology. My books include The New Influencers (2007), Secrets of Social Media Marketing (2008) and Social Marketing to the Business Customer (2011). I also co-wrote The Joy of Geocaching (2010) with my wife. Anybody geocache?

Why are you using ExclusiveOr radio buttons?

The Times should be offering a two paragraph "management précis" for free,
AND charging for in-depth articles for
AND/OR frequent users, can get lower total cost monthly rates for access to everything.

That is the most flexible payment plan: free, micro-payment AND monthly fee.
