Oh, Angie. Those adorable legs are not going to be in showing off condition for ever. Trust me! Cut it and enjoy the shortness while you are young! BTW I love your creative juices. Keep up the good work.

I love the dress long so that is what I voted on but I don't think you could go wrong with it being short either. it is very cute. and good job with the top transformation.

Hi, my vote is to shorten it. It looks ok like this but I have seen you in lots of shorter dresses (on your blog that is!)and they look fab!! BTW where do you find all the great belts you were? I look in our charity shops but they are mostly a bit tired looking.

Keep up the great refashioning you are always an inspiration.

I agree with the ladies, besides, the top part is already showing it's a good balance to keep it long. I think the rule of thumb is if it's revealing on the top don't do so short and if it's short than don't show too much in the top. Not that your showing too much, but I was just sayin' hehe. Lovely dress, I knew you wouldn't let me down. =)

I'm torn! On one hand I love the length of it - and I think it would be one of those great dresses where you could dress it up or down, especially with a cardigan or a denim jacket... but on the other hand the strapless top half and the sassy red belt really lend itself to the dress being shorter (on the knee).

I voted for cut it, but if your vote is close you can move my vote over! It was a hard decision!

So, Angie, is it? I really like the dress just the way you have it. Why does everything have to be so short??? Plus, if the gathered skirt is too short, and you're wearing it and it's windy, you might be showing things you don't want to be showing :O)
You do a really great job with your sewing; I enjoy seeing all the things you re-make.
So, get with it and do up some more of those dresses!
    Your sewing friend,
    Robyn
