I currently have a metal case that i got at daydeal.com. I had the case on my omnia and i had dropped the phone many times and the phone was never damaged. The front of the case is open to access the touch screen but u open the case to use the slide keyboard.

Oh btw austin.. Its true that it will not crack and its very heavy duty the glass. It will not protect against fine scratches tho such as dirt. I know from experience I have a lil scratch so small i got pssd cause I did not know better! Protect your phone dude. I spent alot of money on this thing.

Eh I never did like zig zag all around the phone. No matter were you drop it like in the corner were it falls thats never protected . Just the front and back but not sides. Fail..

I use the 1mm case forgot what its called but its really thin and feels real nice. Thats protects my phone and makes it real nice still. A screen protector which im not sure anti glare good brand. When I buy stuff I review it then just forget about it after 2 months....thats how long its been and still looks new!

Ran my droid with the verizon clear plastic case for a month until I took it off once and realized how amazing the phone feels in your hand... it is designed to resist scratches and dings as well.... took the screen protector off 3 months after getting the phone because I heard all the talk that it is a glass screen and doesn't scratch. Well i've had no protector for a week or 2 now... no scratches, and i'm a college student... that drinks

There are Zagg InvisiShield (and other) on-screen "military grade" protectors for the WHOLE phone -- not just the screen. That should be a category too. Some people are walking around with military grade thin skins covering nearly every exposed surface.
