Really tired of this cream puff society that's permeated all aspects of our life, that's a celebration GET OVER IT! they just won a GOLD MEDAL in their favorite sport. As a fellow athlete i can only dream what that was like and i get chills. I was certainly pulling for the USA but even after defeat the Canadian celebration seemed just and warranted. Congratulations ladies your nation is proud of you. GO USA MENS HOCKEY :)

The Greeks invented the Olympic Games and they celebrated their victories with liquor, sex and If they had tobacco, too. It is the euphoria by the victory against a great team.

What? People are against that? Have you ever won a tournament or an event in your life to say that? Even when we were young we were doing that after tournament wins when playing minor hockey; it's a tradition. It's the same thing for the cigars. It's been a long road for those girls (4 years of preparation and sometime an entire life) and they deserved to party that HUGE victory over their eternal rivals ... Good Job girls ... we're proud of you!

Let a team enjoy their victory. They didn't celebrate in front of any oposing teams or in front of fans. The arena was empty. Why is this a big deal?

This is the Olympics. There should still be dignity, humility and respect, even after a great win like this one. The Olympics should remain sacred ground for sportsmanship and best behavior. I have no problem with the private or locker room party.
