Sachin never made that and as he has more interst in playing Criciket and himself played and made ads to fill his pocket. He dont deserve for it.

Sachin has dedicated his life to cricket and hats off for his achievement.In India we have the due felicitation for him KHEL RATNA or even he can be conferred LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT IN CRICKET(AFTER HIS 50's/60's) but before conferring on him what about our old legends who stand in que for due recoganition.
Sachin has played and chosen a field which is purely commercial and has brought him huge royalties and laurels.His efforts have been paid much more than deserved.
Youngster's in army,industrialist,scientists and social servers stand a recoganition like BHARAT RATNA.An army youngster who choose death at a young age to save the country and his country men still deserves to considered.
In todays democracy politicians are monkeys who jump to others tune n the same is being done by sports minister.I wonder on what basis Sachin feels the award should come to him believe he's developed EGO and thinks it will make him one up among all cricket legends.

I am a Srilankan admirer of Sachin , and i am really lucky enough to have watched his first impact as an opener in ODI at New Zealand, when he scored a scintillating 85 odd runs using less than 50 balls. This was a trail blazer at that time ,and the NZ newspapers headlined – Typhoon strikes the sports field. From that day I knew a Bright New Star was born, and am proud to have witnessed his 50th ton a few days back along with his intervening display for the past 21 years.
The Gentle Colossus Nehru was the first recipient of the BHARAT RATNA award , and one of the similarities Sachin has brought to the fore ,is that Billions in India whether its North, South ,West or East simply adore him, and gets immense pleasure watching Sachin bat. Race ,religion ,caste ,sect etc is all submerged when he is playing for India –what a uniting influence and force for the country .
He deserves to be awarded the BHARAT RATNA ,and I wish to point out a year back the previous British Prime Minister was of the view that he would have nominated him for a Knighthood, but Indians do not accept this award.

I was abashed to see lot of comments on Sachin. But people did anyone ever thought? Why Master Blaster is recognized by whole world? But still we fight to award him? I am sure if the establisher of Bharat Ratna Sir Rajendra Prasad might thought about some one from India would achieve like what Sachin achieved in cricket, He would have added sports as category. We need to find an Award that's the greater than the Bharat Ratna. Yes! He deserves. He inspires people living a great life answering his opponents only by his play not by his words. Great!!. He deserves not only Barat Ratna but also Sir Title and more than anything in this world. Because He is "The God Of Cricket"

Bharat Ratna should be given to guys like Rana Sanga, Chatrapati Shivaji, Udham Singh, Bhagat Singh who sacrificed their lives for the country. Sachin, Dhyanchand etc got what they deserved for their excellence, which is recognition, fame. I feel sorry for hockey and non cricket players for they don’t get same money as cricketers but coveted awards should be for those who lay down their life fighting for country. Politicians, musicians, actors, sports persons etc reap the benefit of their efforts during lifetime

I have watched almost every international game that Sachin played over the past 20 years!!
His game has given me more joy, happiness, excitement that all the movie stars , entertainers and other sportspersons put together. Sachin has lifted the spirits of 1 billion indians for 20 years!! What more do we need from Sachin??? I do not think any one deserves Bharat Ratna more than Sachin tendulkar!!
