Should the Town of Dennis relax the permitting process in Dennisport Village Center? (Poll Closed)

    the village looks terrible. it needs to be fixed and you can only do that by helping contractors to restore the village before more buildings ie the hardware store collapse, by relaxing some of the stringent requirements. we need to expand business in town. we worry too much about trivial things, ie signs in windows, signs outside, color of buildings, types of windows. etc look how long the a.&p building was vacant and still is partially vacant. we are more worried about bringing hotels to town than fixing what we have. the hotel people come to visit and they will run away as they look at d port village atrocity. fix what you have.. no sense locking the door after the horses have left. we are not a town for big hotels. we are and should remain a small, nice local tourist attracting village, not some conglomerate. oh how is the big HAMPTON INN DOING, not so good, except for transients and drug lords. you build a big hotel, and it will be vacant most of the time as is the HAMPTON or become a drug haven or one night stands after the bars close. fix dennisport village.
