I very much liked hearing Squire and Randine "unplugged," so to speak. Although not as graphic as I had hoped (with Squire in the mix) it was still a welcome break during the mid-day. It's also a great palette cleanser after having to deal with Wesla or Kristi, and listening to their babble; at least it re-enforces that there are competent and entertaining people that can give us quality programming.

Well, what happened to 'returning April 1st'? I've been checking but still nothing. Come on folks, lets get it back on line. It was very entertaining and enlightening. Cloe Feline...I'm so glad I don't take things qute as serious as you do. We need a little lightness in our lives. Sooo, lets get back to the program and bring back that delightful 22 minutes or so of after-hour on line news. Me thinks it isn't meant to be 'serious' but rather informative and enjoyable. Wating....

I was very disappointed in Noon News Extra. I was looking for some depth but what I saw was often close to slap stick, and often corny. It hardly passed as news. I suspect my comments will be dismissed, by the same arrogance and know it all attitude that produced the news in the first place. How dare we look for real news from a news show.

Extra is great news/entertainment. Randene, Squire & Peter are a good team. The blog folks are very entertaining as well. Its a very innovative show and I think the concept will get copied everywhere.
The fact that its interactive with the audience makes it the only real reality show I've ever seen.

Noon news extra is what makes eating at my desk worthwhile. As we are doing our own work with our reports from around our sector of the world, it is soooooo nice to have a laugh at what is going on elsewhere.
Noon News Extra is funny, relevant, irreverent and, oh my goodness, NOT always politically correct - but it is ALWAYS honest. And that is both refreshing and good for an after lunch boost to my day. Sometimes we even learn something new!
I do know that my colleagues and family do watch the 'X', so for all you accoutning and ratings weenies at Global making sure you get the return you want - more than one person gathers around my monitir while the 'X' is on. The rate-o-meter may show one computer logged in, however that computer is good for at least 3 others......
Bottom line? - see you on April 01 - and that's not an April Fools Day joke!....... right?????
