Just wondering. What are the demographics on Carrie Underwood's fans? Are they mostly male? Mostly women? What age group are most of them? We have information on other performers, but virtually nothing on her. We know Daughtry's fans are mostly male, 16 to 35. Both Adam, Taylor and Clay have the over 40 females. Even with non-idols, we know Taylor Swift's and Jonas Bros. fans are mostly female, 10 to 23 years old. Does anyone out there know? I know some of you will say she is popular with everyone, but this is generally not the case. There usually are certain groups these personalities appeal to.

I listen to David every single day. He has a voice that you just can't stop listening too. There are so many screamers and "actors" out there singing but he is just the voice. He has fan sites all over the place and we communicate. We are anxiously awaiting his book and next album because we love to hear him sing. I am glad he is having a semblance of a normal life now as no one has worked harder than he since Idol. But I am more than ready to follow him on tour again.

so where are the whiners now - why are they not accusing the underwood and clarkson fans of spamming or cheating. maybe these fans of these former idols are just voting, what a thought.

"Spam" How the heck do you spam a poll like this?? I believe this is called a "Dedicated Fan Base". If you read the poll it clearly asked you to vote for your favourite. Clearly David's fans are voting for their favourite and not wasting time whinning and making excuses why their favourite is not winnig. For those of you who haven't taken the time to really listen to David and watch how AMAZING he is then shame on you. David's got it all there's no cheating here....fact is a fact. Truth hurts.

Why is it because David Archuleta is winning in a poll, people think his fans are spamming? Who needs to cheat? Maybe if YOUR favorite Idol had an active and supportive fan base as David does, they would be leading in the poll. Stop complaining!

David Archuleta is my favorite IDOL ever! His Christmas Concert was the best thing I've seen in YEARS! He should do one every year. His solo parts in the Spanish Version of We Are The World stuck out like a sore thumb! If anyone has a chance you should see his concert videos on YouTube -- especially when he sang "Contigo" at the ALMA AWARDS and maybe that is why he is WINNING :)

quit your whining and just freaking vote - everybody here has the opportunity to vote their faves into the lead. it doesn't take rocket science to get 600 votes in thirty minutes the old fashioned way... how in the hell can anyboy cheat here. spend less time whining and sniveling and bellyaching, and more time voting, then perhaps your fave would lead. these polls are for fun, and it's fun seeing the same old whiners turn up time and time again when their fave is getting beaten. suck it up, shut up, man up and vote, or pop off.

Taylor Hicks from season 5 has been and still is my favorite. Besides his great voice and charisma and the countless live concerts he has successfully expanded his career to include Broadway along with producing two CDs "Taylor Hicks" and "The Distance" and a DVD Whomp at the Warfield!.. an all around entertainer!

OK........Someone needs to call out what is happening. David Archeleta's fans are spamming this poll BIG TIME. There is no way that he could get 6oo votes in 30 minutes.
Why do fans do this?? It ruins the entire poll and please don't have the nerve to say that it is supporting him and that he has than many fans.........All of the Idols have plenty of supportive fans, but they don't want to ruin a poll by cheating.
This is unacceptable and all his votes should be removed or the poll taken down.
