Tough choice. I really think Ellen Page would make Salander proud. She's got the chops and is closest in a physical match. No sense in casting Noomi. Not that she wouldn't be fabulous, and it would be interesting to see her handle Hollywood's adaptation, but we've got plenty of talent on this side of the pond, eh? Of the four newcomers, I think Sarah Snook could do mean and asocial and crooked smile and give the role something new. The challenge might be casting a tall Salander to Graig's five-ten-something. I trust David Fincher and Scott Rudin to make the right picture.

The Swedish film is so good, even with the subtitles, that I wish Hollywood wouldn't even try.
Fairuza Balk should do the job.
Allison Scagliotti all the way! I don't care if it's a remake of the original, if she's in it, it'll be WORTH IT!
