Yes — same setup as on the road, just with knobby tires.

No — I have separate race wheels for CX

No — my nice race wheels are for pavement only. My backups are the CX wheels.

No — I don't participate in lawn racing.

I have separate wheells AND bikes for track Cx and road. Use my back up track bike and my back up CX bike for training and shoppng/trips to the gym. I no longer work! I have two sets of track specific wheels, and two sets of road specific wheels,(plus an "old" trainer bike). I also have a collection of street wheels for spares,(all clunkers).
