In Nightmare I had to sit through Max which is like getting a root canal without the good drugs. Long-distance Call was a place-sitter and a waste of time in an already short season. My Bloody Valentine was, well, too bloody. I draw the line at cannibalism. Plus, the Dean is an empty shell thing got old halfway through. That left Born Under a Bad Sign and Sex and Violence. I thought both were okay but not great. In the end I went with Sex and Violence simply because I thought the take on sirens was interesting. I never really liked that mythology but I really enjoyed the SPN-spin.
