The Islamic center is 2 blocks away from ground zero and I see no reason why people would have a problem with "freedom of religion," that is not interfering with ones personal religion. These people have been trying to get this building for over 8 years now, before ground zero was ground zero. If this is the case and they should not be able to have their center there then there should also be no other religious buildings around ground zero. I am a Christian but I believe in "freedom of religion" and the rights that one upholds as a citizen in the United States. We should not judge those who we do not know for things that others have done. As Christians, we are suppose to forgive and give chances to better ourselves.
