melo should come to chicago because he is very much need there and the posibility of him succeeding is 90% .. yes lebron , wade, and bosh is on the same team but at the same time lebron did come to his wedding and told him that he was going to win 7 straight titles lol.. so u do the math

Melo should go to the Rockets, they lost their starting foward so they should get melo to replace him. ou would have Brooks, Martin, Melo, Scola, and Yao for the starting five. I think that they will do good together.

i think melo should go to Lakers to help kobe and the Los Angeles to defend the title and to make the greatest player in the world...

Melo should go to NY and wait for cp3 there next year... Denver wont be able to do anything, cause if Melo does not sign an extension, no team will get him and they will get nothing in return.. atleast now they will get atleast something.. bite the bullet.. chicago might have a better deal, but everything really depends on melo...

Melo is a scorer-selfish,self-centered-& over estimates his court sense and productivity.
Defense-rebounds(DEF) especially, and sulky attitude remain un-changed over a 7 yr. window.
N.Y. or Chicago will not win with Melo but he may win a scoring title???
NO POSITIVE VIBES -NUGS will be better off building from scratch there prior Front Office
bungled the selection of talent& contracts badly not taking into consideration the finer points of the game
having AI J.R and Melo playing on the same team/court is too much to absorb.Martin a 95 mil BUST

Without the officials giving him the advantage when he has the ball Melo is a minus in any ones system
since he would be limited both ways foul trouble & point production going south.
Believe me this is the real picture so N.Y. KNICKS go forward and take Melo ASAP also the Nets may be on the radar??
Mr. Art Garcia you have a great deal of homework awaiting you if you think Melo has high value so let the NUGS get RICH on him where "catch me if you can "works.
WHAT A CULTURE SHOCK. With a sick coach and a 30 yr. old General MGR(Josh Kroenke) plus an inexperienced EXEC. in the front office it doestn't matter much what they get for Melo if the strings aren't pulled to evaluate talent and build with youth plus an infusion of Kroenke SR. money for His Son to work with.
Although this opinion may be unpopular those who know can trace nuggets history over the past 20 yrs and easily see the same pattern being repeated in the near future but the fans are so anxious for a winner it becomes a mute point to argue with what Miami has put together a definate setback for Donald Stern and the NBA.
Please Art just reflect on what the NUGS are shooting for-More ticket sales less expense and a mediocre team for the near future and Melo will be throwing them up where-ever he lands by next FEB. denver gets some cap room and young talent . A new begining but careful thinking must be on top of the list for even moderate success!!!

Carmelo needs to stay in Denver which has the best possibility of winning a championship out of the teams vying for him. New York has no shot whatsoever this year of winning. New Jersey??? Please! Melo needs to sign this deal before the collective bargaining agreement ends. So why would he leave unless its to go to the Lakers or Heat??? Other than those two teams I don't see too many spots with money and talent and with championships coming. Chauncey, Melo, Afflalo, a healthy anderson and k-mart, with Nene and JR sounds like a good deal to me, and Coach Karl coming back, the only reason that the Nuggets lost to the Jazz in the playoffs is because they had no leadership wtih Karl gone. Dantley is a good coach but not for the attitudes the Nuggets have

I don´t like the idea of Melo going to Chicago. Even if Chicago keeps Noah and trades Luol Deng and Taj Gibson to get melo, what will Melo bring to the table?
    - Offensive production. But how much additional offensive production Chicago needs after adding Carlos Boozer, Flip Murray to the roster? Considering how ball-dominant melo is, from time to time making the entire team look like a fools without the ball, it may easily happen, that one ball is´nt enough. And Chicago is Derrick Rose´s team. Is Carmelo ok with that?
    - Lack of defence. Chicago is a very good defendng team right now. They added Carlos Boozer, not particularly good defender to their roster to get more points inside. Giving away their defencive leader and still developing, Joakim Noah instead of another scoring machine without defence... If I would be a coach, I would not even consider that kind of a deal. Actually, I would´nt want another poor-defending scoring machine instead of good inside defender, still developing, Taj Gibson and Luol Deng (healthy) either. I would´nt want him at all.

To sum thing up - if trade Noah for Anthony, which will be the starting 5 for Chicago? Derrick Rose, Ronnie Brewer, Carmelo Anthony, Carlos Boozer and possibly Taj Gibson. Will this team win a championship against for example Lakers (Fisher, Bryant, (Barnes), Artest, Pau Gasol (Odom) and Andre Bynum? Definitely no. Will it win against Miami (Chalmers, Wade, James, Bosh, Ilgauskas)? Don´t think so. That´s it. What s the use of giving aeay perspective and get a superstar, if u wont win a title? As been said - championships are taken with defence, not offence.
