I think Kobe could win because he has a better shot than LeBron and better moves to create space. He couldnt blow past LeBron or anything but on the block he could outwork LeBron i think. Between them it comes down to shot percentage they both have a lot of moves they could use to score, but all it take is a miss and the game could switch around and i would bank on LeBron missing before Kobe. (Note: I'm not a Kobe Lover and i hate the Lakers, but this aint about who you like better its about being realistic and Kobe has proven time after time that he's deadly from anywhere on the court any given night.)

people say oh how kobe have better surrounding players or some shit. but lebron had good players around him 2. 2 or 3 of lebron teammates was out of the top 15 three point shooters and they had shak, jamison, mowillams, dilonte west and u try to tell me lebron aint had good teammates. and if lebron didn't play shit them last couple of games maybe the cavs would of make the finals and lakers would of kick there ass. so because the cavs lose every body saying that he aint had know help. so i guest he had the best record in the regular season bu his self averaging 29. somthing pts per game. oh shut up stupid ppl. 1st every body say cavs is the best but now they get kick out. everybody getting blame but lebron.

LeBron would kill Kobe in a game of one-on-one. Kobe is to little and is not as athletic as Lebron--not even in his prime. Actually, I don't think that Kobe could beat Durant or Wade in a game of one-on-one. But, I do think that Carmelo is the best one-on-one player in the league but not a top 5 player as a whole

Kobe is way more skilled than lebron on the offensive end. We have seen him perfect all kinds of offensive moves from anywhere on the court. I think a lot of people are equating this poll with the question "Who is a better player?" which is a more difficult question in which Kobe's clearly superior jump shot, 5 rings, and cold-blooded assassin qualities count in his favor. HOWEVER, we are talking about a game of 1 on 1. Anyone who's actually played ball knows that in a game of 1 on 1, if one of the players is bigger, stronger, AND faster (and to that poster who questioned if Lebron is faster - are you joking?) nothing else really matters - on offense Lebron can back him down or drive it into him and not need to take a single outside jumper. On defense Lebron will consistently bother Kobe's jump shot as Kobe will certainly be forced into fadeaways since he will not be able to outquick Lebron to the hole. I don't even think it would be all that close. I think Lebron vs Jordan in prime is much more interesting one on one because Jordan was a stronger guy and better defender than Kobe.

I think Lebron will win it. He might have less experience, but he is very talented and he got the size and quickness. The only way Kobe can win the game will be shooting it from out side (shoot some 3's and jump shot). But can u guarantee he will be in the zone on that day!? That is still questionable. Now, imagine play inside, I bet Lebron will have tons of blocks in his stats! (Remember when they played against each other preparing the USA team, where Lebron clean-BLOCKED Kobe!?) I know it's kinda exaggeration, but Kobe will definitely have some difficulties with Lebron all over him!

Kobe one-on-one is better than Lebron but Lebron is the best overall player. Lebron can shoot, post, rebound, pass, everything.
I think Kobe could win because he has a better shot than LeBron and better moves to create space. He couldnt blow past LeBron or anything but on the block he could outwork LeBron i think. Between them it comes down to shot percentage they both have a lot of moves they could use to score, but all it take is a miss and the game could switch around and i would bank on LeBron missing before Kobe. I think a lot of people are equating this poll with the question "Who is a better player?" which is a more difficult question in which Kobe's clearly superior jump shot, 5 rings, and cold-blooded assassin qualities count in his favor. HOWEVER, we are talking about a game of 1 on 1. Anyone who's actually played ball knows that in a game of 1 on 1, if one of the players is bigger, stronger, AND faster (and to that poster who questioned if Lebron is faster - are you joking?) nothing else really matters - on offense Lebron can back him down or drive it into him and not need to take a single outside jumper. On defense Lebron will consistently bother Kobe's jump shot as Kobe will certainly be forced into fadeaways since he will not be able to outquick Lebron to the hole. I don't even think it would be all that close. I think Lebron vs Jordan in prime is much more interesting one on one because Jordan was a stronger guy and better defender than Kobe.
I don't like either player for who they are, but they are easily are the best 2 players in the world. I would have to say Kobe would win. He's a smarter, and skillful player. Lebron might be stronger, but he's more athletic than skill. Kobe also has a waaay better outside shot than Lebron.

I think Lebron will win it. He might have less experience, but he is very talented and he got the size and quickness. The only way Kobe can win the game will be shooting it from out side (shoot some 3's and jump shot). But can u guarantee he will be in the zone on that day!? That is still questionable.
