Should state lawmakers follow a dress code when they appear in the chambers on Beacon Hill?

    As if it makes a difference how they are dressed for the 1 to 2 hours per week they are in session

    I'd much prefer that they worry more about honesty than decorum.

    Studies over many years have proven that we act as we dress! This is not even open for debate! Become familiar with the research.

    With all the important issues that need to be addressed; is this really a priority? I don't think so.

    I can't believe this is even an issue. Does dress attire make these people THINK any better? It sure hasn't worked so far on Beacon Hill or in Washington. Clean, neat, in good taste and they will look like 75% of their constituents.
