My brother and 2 sisters reserved theirs a few days back, theyre all switching from android phones. Im selling my droid x to my buddy and will probably be getting the iPhone 5 when it comes out and handing the iPhone 4 to my wife so she can sell her android phone to someone.
I enjoyed my droid x for the time I had it, all in all it is a great phone, never had problems with it at all, my only problem is the android os. When I see someone with an iPhone or iPad, their OS just looks so much cleaner and smoother, android just feels cheap and cheesy to me.

The poll is geared towards existing android users. Part of the question is "will you switch"
Internet polls are not objective.

Listen, I was an AT&T customer who was eligible to upgrade about 3 years ago. I loved my Palm Centro and knew I would not be getting a new phone until after researching and finding exactly what I wanted and needed. When I chose the Droid X, I knew what I was doing and that hasn't changed. I've never been much of a follower.

I agree that this poll isn't fair, but I'm android all the way. I thought that my Droid was a consolationm prize when I got it, but with Google my home-> mobile-> work integration can't be topped.

I'm switching. I have been using the Fascinate since November and am not happy with it. The key thing that I don't like is the MS Exchange support. Understand it is better in 2.2 but of course I've been stuck at 2.1 since i bought it (when they told me I'd be at 2.2 by the end of month). iPhone does a great job of exchange and gmail integration and my contacts and calendar don't get mixed in with Google versions. It is crazy that I have like 3 linked contacts for every person in my address book (part of the problem is that I am using Touchdown to work around the native mail client lack of capabilities). Thank goodness I don't use facebook! I am getting an Android tablet though. Think that will be a cool device with Honeycomb.
no way am I switching, I love the Android platform. But I do think the end result is that you are going to see a significant dent into Android growth.
It's fair to say that a huge portion of Android's growth was due to the fact that Android phones were the best phones verizon had to offer. I still think they are, but many people rocking Android today would be on iPhone (myself included) had it been available at the time.

I doubt that this poll is fair either. It is located on phandroid, an android fanboy heaven.

Only idiots would chose an iPhone over an equally priced Android device.
