We still use satellite, however the gap between satellite and streaming is narrowing quickly.

I have got rid of my satellite. We watch Netflix and Hulu exclusively. We have a Wii and 3 computers on which we watch Netflix movies. I have adjusted my wireless router to give preference to streaming content which seems to give me some consistency with my streaming of video. As long as streaming video remains cost effective, it will remain my preferred method of viewing movies and television programs.

Yes I use it as my primary video watching platform through Netflix and Hulu. One thing I have noticed in the last couple of days is the inconsistency in watching a HD stream. Sometimes it is great while others the sustained bandwidth is not there and I am forced to watch at a lower quality. Speedtest.net shows the download speed is around 16Mb/s but that is a short test. What I am more concerned with in watching HD video is the sustained or constant download speed which I have not been happy with through Direct Communications.

Need more options to choose from
    1. Download and watch later
    2. Streaming
    3. TV old fashion way
