Should restaurants serve salt at your table?

    Pepper should also be on the table. When tea or coffee is served the accompaniments such as sugar, etc., should also either be on the table or automatically served with the beverage. I can't tell you the amount of times I've been served tea and had to wait for five or ten minutes to get sugar supplied. It's so bad, I carry my own salt, pepper, and sugar packets with me. I also carry tea bags for those times when the only flavors the restaurant has are flavors I do not appreciate. I find it amazing that some restaurants will not have plain black tea available.
