I never truly appreciated our "home theater" as much as when our son was born. I know it sounds cliche, but having an awesome place to watch movies without having to get a babysitter or even get out of your pajamas (not to mention the cost savings!) has never been so appreciated!
Also, people have gotten so rude in movie theaters these days with their cell phones or calling out, etc. The experience just isn't as exciting as it was growing up as a kid...
That being said, I still can't seem to get my house to get that yummy movie-theater-popcorn-smell...

If I had a Home Theater like the one shown here I would never leave home.
