In regards to the modern day look of Jesus ...Not sure about this , and please I mean no disrespect towards anyone here , I thought I heard that as the boy grew older he confessed to that story saying that he went to heaven was made up , a lie ... Again , just basically giving all of you that work on this link the heads up ....God bless !

I've talked with Jesus, and his eyes are exactly like Akiane's painting. The first time I saw it I started crying and shivering.

I have also seen Jesus, 4 times. The first time I saw him I was not saved nor did I even know HIM. The 3rd pic is very close but Jesus is more beautiful.

I am LDS. I know that the Del Parsons is the standard picture used worldwide for our church. I will also tell you that a near death experience places me in agreement with Dan Hatcher. However, if you really compare the two together, change the hair a bit on the Del Parsons and overlay them both, you will see that they are closer to being the same. As for my own experience, there is no doubt. I about fell out of my chair the first time I saw the top picture.

I saw Jesus in a spiritual dream and the first painting is almost exact. I am 5'10" he was a lot shorter as we walked and as you talked with him you wanted him to be proud of you he was so exciting. He was a craftsman and very detailed oriented. You just knew that.
