as far as i'm concerned screw gauge is used to measure small lengths......we can measure diameter of thin wires .......but not radius....to find the radius of screw gauge...some mathematical calculations are required ....first find diameter and next diameter/2 gives u radius......but we cannot directly measure radius using screw gauge !!!!
