Look, i think every girl imagined Peeta this way in the beginning. A boy who is cute, and could be her best friend. But as soon as they find out that Peeta will be with Katniss, their view changes and Peeta suddenly becomes every girls dream guy. Besides, who wants the main character to settle for cute, when she could have beautiful with just a little tweak of their imagination.

I agree with Adriana, I think Liam should be Peeta. I thought Peeta was supposed to be attractive. I loved Peeta in the book, I don't think I'll love him in the movie, since it is not what I pictured at all.

I think the carachters are perfect!!! even though some dont origanally look like they descriebed in the movie I think its going to be a fantastic movie. Plus' the author herself choosed the caracters and I think that the look his not has importnat has how they play the role and seriously I Josh IS peeta! have u seen him in interviews?! He has all the same qualities thats peeta has and I if u ask me is physicall aperance is also perfect. he is strong but also vulnerable and he is soooo hot!!! I think people should wait and see the movie before they judge because since suzan collins said she wanted josh to be peeta and jennifer to be katniss it will be just has good has her amazing books. And talking about Katniss I find the casting is just right because she has this strong face and she is also an amazing actress. But i find that president snow, haymitch, effie, cato, clove and foxface are the ones i most likely recongnize. thought I would had imagine prim a little younger but i think that her expression is great because i dont think that she should be presented has someone vulnerable because she his a fighter. But in general I love the choices and i really look forward to the movie!! I CANT WAIT!!! (and I Just looooooove josh hutchterson! Isnt he adoorable ♥♥♥ BIG FAN!)

And in the 1st book it says that Katniss has seen him carry huge bags of flour around the market, and he put on 15 pounds of muscle in 3 weeks to look the part, and I don't think he did that entirely voluntarily!!!!

OK guys this isn't that bad!!!! I mean I think that he would be a good Peeta, he seems to have a good personality to pull off Peeta. I was concerned a little about the hair but I did look at the pictures on Google and he looked totally different, in a good way :) We haven't even seen the movie yet! He might surprise all you people who are against him playing Peeta.

I had my heart set on Peeta the second I read The Hunger Games. This Isn't Peeta. Peeta would be more like the actor portraying Cato, or Alex Pettyfer, he is supposed to look thinner, and simple. He looks more muscled than Gale's actor. That's just messed up. He does look better than expected. But he is no Peeta by any means.

OK, if you look at the knew pictures on this website of Josh blonde and not looking like he fell on an electric fence, he's beginning to look like Peeta, and in an interview with Suzanne Collins, she says that his audition was absolutely brilliant, " If Josh had been bright purple and had wings and gave that audition, I'd have been like, 'Cast him! We can work around the wings.' He was that good" That's what she said, so even if he isn't an exact replica of Peeta, Suzanne Collins seems to think he can act Peeta......

........it's called hair-dye and contacts. Though if I'm not mistaken, Gale was the one with blue eyes, not Peeta. But I couldn't be certain, it's been about 2 years since I read the first book. Snow is alright, he could flop or succeed. Katniss (well there's always going to be butthurt people when it comes to the main character [except I think in Daniel Radcliffe's case]) I'm giving a chance.

I don't mean to be rude, but his face shape is all wrong! And on Google, you can see pictures of him blonde, they've even messed that up! And what are they going to do about his eyes?
Some of the actors, like the girl who are playing Prim and the girl who's playing Rue, are perfect, but they didn't get it right with President Snow, Gale, Katniss or Peeta.

He's perfect! Just picture him with lighter hair. His face is exactly how I imagined Peeta. He's got a sweet disposition but enough edge to pull off Peeta's protective side and his hijacked mess later on! So excited!
