They are all too old. I'd love to see actors that are the right age-these kids are all supposed to be kids not giant adults. plus, they have all been going pretty rough for a long time-without a lot of food. I know Gale should be big but he shouldn't be a 30 year old!

APPARENTLY, IN THE DRAFT, KATNISS GIVES PRIM THE MOCKINGJAY PIN, AND PRIM GIVES IT BACK TO HER RIGHT BEFORE SHE GOES TO THE CAPITOL, THEN KATNISS LEAVES IT WITH RUE WHEN SHE DIES, AND GETS A BRAND NEW ONE WHEN SHE RETURNS TO 12.
What do you think of that?

the casting for all the characters sucks, really. (except for katniss and effie and the minor characters, and kind of prim [unibrow much?])
the hunger games is easily my favorite book series ever, and they totally shattered how the characters are supposed to look.

Wait guys, Gale's spent his whole life hunting, half the time single handedly, for a family of five, and the exertion of getting the plants and meat combined with the nutrition in them has given both Katniss and Gale strong muscles.
And I've always imagined Gale as sort of a big, bearish guy!!!

This picture isn't the best so I searched google and I can say that he wasn't my first choice but after hollywood has transformed him into a dark haired hunter then I think he would be good for the role.

I agree that Liam and Josh should switch roles- Liam has that whole "I want to pinch his cheeks-" look going on, when Gale should be emanating " I can kill you if you touch me". I can completely see Liam as a baker's son and Josh as a hunter-kinda short, but hey>
Better casting than Peeta, at least! He's not bad, he looks to be the right build, but I'd have thought he'd have darker skin and hair, really..
