It should be the "The Cold" of Manitoba... people knows Winnipeg, but Monita needs a push and just having Americans pronounce The Cold Manitoba will probably sold the province in North America. My 2 cents.

We have the bluebombers,we had the jet,why not go with the Manitoba Stealth, new era,new teams and for sure new young fan.
i cant stand the idea of using the Jets as a Name for our new Hockey team ! Why not give it a catchy name with more home growns roots ! What could be more Manitoba but a freezing cold day ! Where yes we still lace them up and go out and strap on the skates grab a stick and totally enjoy OUR game!

Not "Manitoba Jets" that would be stupid I'm from Northern Manitoba it wouldn't "make me feel included" it would piss me off because they were changing horrible idea.
They should name the new team the "Winnipeg Grenadiers" after the batallion that fought in WWIII
