I am getting so sick of all of this! A person can be gay and still be a good Christian. Like it or not! A person can be straight and be a good Christian. Like it or not. Why do we assume that gay people are always sexually active? Do we assume the same for those who are straight? I am what I am. Like it or not, that's the way I was born. And I chose to live my life accordingly.
Please don't assume that every gay person is sexually active. Nor is every straight person. Just because I am attracted to people of my own preference doesn't mean that I am sexually active.
Like I said before, I am what I am. I have come to accept this reality and wish that others would do the same. I don't judge others based on their sexual activity. Should society? Should you! Why must we 'label' everything? What does it accomplish? Nothing! Throughout my life all of this has been a struggle but at age 70 it no longer matters. So why does society place such a 'burden' on the younger generation? What does it accomplish? Nothing! I find it hard to accept or understand how someone can 'choose' their sexual preference. After all, we are what we are. That's the way God made us. Like it or not. Some may chose to deny or hide it. And they must deal with that accordingly. Otherwise, PLEASE leave us alone and let us go on with our lives. I will. If you will. Can you? Will you?

Since I am a conservative Christian, I cannot go against my beliefs coming from the word of God. God doesn't condone homosexual behavior. I don't either. I don't hate or judge homosexuals, but I feel some things should not be allowed. Of course, I also understand that our once God-fearing nation no longer believes in or worships Him. This is just more evidence that our country has really turned away God. We have become just like the Europeans and the rest of the world-- ungodly.
If I were a secular person, I would have no problems with gay marriage. After all, I wouldn't have a conscience that tells me otherwise.

There is nothing to prevent gays from enjoying a contractual relationship under the law. They've never been prevented from forming legal relationships. What they want is to declare their love for each other to all of society via a marriage ceremony with legally binding results. This has always been attainable through a civil contractual relationship.

Children form opinions about "normal" behavior during their formative years from birth through about age 10, usually through their parents. If they have gay parents, they will assume being gay is normal.

The far left has a multifaceted agenda, one aspect of which is population reduction and control primarily because they claim heterosexuals are disinterested in reducing their rates of procreation. Social engineering of the accepted family unit from heterosexual to homosexual is perceived as one way of accomplishing population control. What they fail to realize is that the majority of heterosexuals will end up choosing a life mate of the opposite sex in order to have a traditional family.

All the Gays originally wanted were the same rights as married folks. Now they want everything. Sounds mission creep to me. We can't always get what we want. These funky polls never influence me. I think the are all politically engineered because all the pollsters and news organizations are.
