Shoot a car ad in a city at night with edgy music. Gonna look just about the same as both of these commercials.

The Audi ad is probably without any speech so they could use it in many markets which speak different languages.

The Chrysler ad did not feature any of the car tricks that the Audi ad did. Nor did the Chrysler ad feature anyone doing any sporting activities like fencing.

Yeah, the Audi ad was kinda boring. So was the Chrysler ad. Both offer nice looking vehicles.

Donna, are you kidding me? Did you actually watch both of these?
I hope you're not an air traffic controller.

This ad is practically a direct copy of Chrysler's commercial.

It is an intriguing ad, but I think Audi has enough cash and skill that they can develop one of their own.

    Donna,
German last name. Hmmm. You don't see the progression of the music and the way the camera angles are and the dark contrast of the street to the marquee? Would you vote for Palin too? Ob sind Sie dumb, kann ich nicht sagen, aber vielleicht. Nein! Es ist sicher!

The Audi ad could not be more boring and was way too long. There was also nothing verbal in the Audi ad. They didn't even mention Detroit. I don't think there were many similarities at all.

Not great, one is an original the other is a ripoff copy. They stole not just the song, but the entire concept! Imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, but it will also get you smacked upside the head with a lawsuit!

Audi took Chrysler's ad concept and a variation of Lose Yourself. Chrysler took Audi's headlamp design. Call it even. Both spots are great.
