What's your preferred source of turmeric?

    I worked with a woman from India; she told me she would take a spoonful of turmeric when she felt a cold coming on. I know it's has some excellent health benefits. I have some and will find some great recipes to use it.

    I put tumeric in my soups, salad dressing, onto roasted veggies and cooked with black rice or lentils. Anything I can put it in (except for smoothies) I do!!

    is there a way i can get it in during the day without tasting it? i cannot stand the taste or even the aroma of curry. if one takes the supplements, would she burp up the flavor? just can't take it. but i realize its very very important to take. help!

    I sprinkle turmeric on vegetables as I'm cooking them. Particularly on greens such as spinach, lettuce (Yes I saute lettuce), collards, kale and chard. Be careful not to get any on your white counter. When I lay my wood stirrer down, I lay it in the sink so it doesn't stain any surfaces.

    Adding more Tumeric to my diet is high on my list. Thanks for the tea recipe. I simply don't know how to use it. I buy the root regularly, and it usually just goes bad. I would LOVE general guidance to using tumeric root as well as powder... THANKS, Mechelle
