First, you preserve your options as a matter of sound legal strategy. Second, this is a long term marriage and the California courts will reserve jurisdiction over spousal support and make/modify an award as circumstnces warrant. Third, Maria may earn more than Arnold and he would be the one entitled to support - she gets half of community roylaties as well as her own Kennedy income. Lastly, and not necessarily in order, California is a no-fault dissolution of marriage jurisdiction so whether he kept it in his pants or not is irrelevant.
