Channing Tatum seems like he'd be the best to recreate the legendary role made famous by Patrick Swayze. He's the best for the job. Justin Timberlake may have the moves but does he have the look and personality? Not so much. Channing has been in a dance movie and he's an amazing dancer. He's definatly hot enough and he's definatly got the body and personality to match. If there is anyone who could possibly recreate this role well it would be him. Seriously try to picture someone who would closely match Patrick Swayze. Someone absolutely gorgeous, amazing dancer, super buff, smooth on his feet, can be misterious and tough, and can completely fill that role and screen. I used to be obsessed with Justin Timberlake but honestly from a dancers point of view, Channing Tatum would do "Johnny" some justice.

I would find someone who was not already famous or known to the big screen. A FRESH face with talent for most cast. This would create a love story again like the orignal. If you bring in famous faces that TRY to act like Patrick AnD Jennifer... it woun't work. Bring in new folk, trust me on this.

This is another remake that should not be made. Remember "Arthur", and "Pink Panther" . I'm just sayin.....
