I've been plotting a family puppy adoption for years. But madre is totally against it. Should I keep pursuing the "puppy plan"?

(mom's opinion) Dogs eat the food you pay for, and poop it out. Not worth it.

If your mom has a good reason... then wait until you have your own house and paychecks.

Puppies are kid's best friend! Take her to the ASPCA and she'll convert ;)
