Syrian people who against this regime are facing death and torture every day, it's obvious that NATO's countries have their own issues specially economical ones,but the interfere in Syria is a most for humanity n't just by NATO but from all countries in the world,I really can't imagine that in 21 century all people see this happens in syria and remain silent.the schools are become detention centers who holds protestors and students become detained in Security forces prisons.

The United States should consentrate on solving it's own problems; economy, education, housing and a miriad of other problems. Syria has free education up to and including college, Med. The US is at an opportunity to get things right in the middle east once and for all. helping the Syrian people at this moment will lead to less conflict in the region, better peace opportunity with Israel, and will shrink the Russian influence in the area and so will Iran be left alone with less influence in Iraq which will be the way to establish a new peaceful middle east.
failing to do so due to any reason economic or other . will have big consequences, as the hater in Syria will grow and terrorism will be established in that area as the way to fight. this will lead to more failure and more dramatic changes in the region with more violent world-wide.
no need for an army to go in Syria only no fly zone and monitoring the national highway to prohibit the transmission of the heavy military equipments used to kill the people.

If we want extremists Muslims to prevail then yes, NATO should intervene to help them esatblish the kind of regime and rules they want. Dont be naive, the "rebels" in Syria are Muslim extremists. Bashar Assad is a dictator on his people but he is educated and secular. He is better than his father, and his regime will definitely improve more and more. He is much better than the extremists on the streets of Syria. Bashar Assad is better for American interests than the terrorists. Haven't we learned the lesson from supporting Ben Laden in the past?

The situation in Syria is very clear. these Guys are not looking for freedom or democracy, and I bet they do not know what it means. I lived in houmes and Damascus and I know who lives in Bab Sbaa or bab Aaoumro. They are muslim fundamentals and muslim brothers from the summi group.
