Yes, it seems that there will be a lot of changes across many markets, including the auto market. There was an interesting study conducted by GfK (to which this post is now linked) that suggests that younger people may be more open to Chinese vehicles than older folks. If Chinese-designed vehicles make their way here through established brands, and Chinese-owned brands make inroads through younger buyers, one way or the other Americans may have no choice but to get used to Chinese-derived vehicles on our roads (in fact, Volvo is Chinese owned so we are already getting used to them).
We (Americans) are going to have to get used to that there are other people and markets in the world. It's a change, but it's not necessarily a bad one. Those are some good looking cars. Nice post Frank.
