I'm a native of South Florida and I went through hurricanes Cleo, Donna, Andrew, Wilma and a few others. I learned to respect storms; I prepare for them and I hope everyone up here does, too. Where we'll see a lot of damage is to trees and plants, and broken branches can do LOTS of damage. Also, when you're doing cleanup afterward, take it easy with the chainsaws and power tools.

Looks like New Jersey and other coastal areas are in for the worst of it.
