A Kitchen aide mixer is great but it really a grand appliance. But you can get one used of Craigslist or from the KA website reconditioned.

I think those are all good investments! I voted for the second fridge, because I couldn't image not having the fridge in our basement. Totally putting a KitchenAid mixed on the registry though.

While I did vote for the epic stand mixer, I was torn between that and the 2nd refrigerator/freezer.
