Well, to be honest, I don't really care. I mean, if I get someone who added me anyways, that I do not know (i.e. has a fake name, for reason of cause) then I wouldn't even add them.

I think there is a growing trend in the internet, where people use different names, and the problem is, their name might not be consistent across all services they use, and they most likely change it quite frequently. I am not just talking about people who may actually need to do if for safety. The is growing trend in the younger generation to have some other name, and it is reflected across a lot of different service such as MSN and Facebook.

How do I know? Cause I am apart of the generation (I don't use a fake name though) so I am friends with many of these people, always getting confused about who I am talking to.

I think what we all need to learn is that the web, and the social platform, is just really like another dimension in our world, where is reflects us in real life. What I am trying to say is, that we do a lot on the world wide web, in fact, we do soo much, they say it doesn't matter if you are windows or mac anymore, cause everyone does everything online. We can even word process. But everything we do online, we much provide identity, so we can be linked to what tasks we have performed at the various services we use. But if we have a fake name, how do I know that my best friend post that status, maybe it was your mother.

In the end, I for some reason think that Google SHOULD allow fake names, but instead make a new policy that notifies the person who has been added that "this user maybe using an alias or a fake name." then provide the following options:
    - Ok
    - Add to circle
    - Ignore User
    - Block User

I think that this will keep both worlds happy. So people who want to use name such as "K**** Monstergan" still can, and people who don't want to see them at all won't have to.

P.S. that name had it's family name change numerous amount of times on Facebook :/
If you add anyone around my age group, you will see they even have a mini message in their name on Facebook, a lot more of them have it on MSN
