The entire show revolves around Meredith and Derek. If they aren't there, the other characters lose a piece of their personalities. How can you have Grey's Anatomy without THE Grey!

Oh dear GOD, Somebody puhleeze make darn sure Ellen AND Patrick stay. I used to tease my mother for getting so "sucked" in, I told her it was just another silly Night time soap. Then I lost my job in 2008, was disgusted with just everything, became an empty-nester and fell into a slump for a while. Lifetime re-runs got me hooked and I fell completely in love with Ellen. I found out she's my age and she quickly became my hero. Her personality rocks, she's a doll, and Grey's (as silly as it sounds) got me through a really rough time. If Ellen leaves I will be so very sad. She makes the show and I believe she can keep the show on top...... Fight girl, Fight!

I think it would be a tradegy(spelling) if Ellen Pompeo left the show.Its made for her and the other big characters!!! The show is called GREYS ANATOMY and if meredith grey leaves there is no greys anatomy..... I would start crying if it ended and I think Im not the only fan who would!! I have all the episodes bloopers and everything and then suddenly meredith/derek/yang & so on are gone my life will be ruined:(

Meredith Grey is the show. If she leaves, Greys Anatomy will be non-existent to me. She is Meredith Grey guysss!!!! The show started with her, it definitely should end with her!!!!! If Ellen Pompeo leaves, and Shonda continues the show, then I will cryyyyyyyy. I cant believe they haven't asked her to renew her contract. I mean seriously???? She's Meredith. Like I said in my first like, she is the show. MEREDITH GREY/ELLEN POMPEO IS GREYS ANATOMY.

Meh...I think the show has run its course. It's getting too predictable and is starting to feel like a teen drama.

Ellen has to stay! Also i think Patrick should too i don't know what it would be like without both of them.... i dont think i would watch the show.

I wish they are asked to renew their contracts ( Ellen, patrick, Sandra, Katherine n so on..).. they should be. grey's anatomy wont be the same without them.. :(
