ENDUNN: You are correct. The PR person is trying to dismiss the fact that the focus is on her rudeness towards the fan rather than an inanimate flower. I'm sure the fan saw her drop the flowers to the floor and make a face, vene if they didn't hear her comments. Just bad manners.

Would it have hurt her to graciously accept the flowers and later give them to someone else? Her actions were rude and a terrible display of common courtesy.
