We do not have a leadership that tells us they will pay off the national debt, and that they will maintain a balanced budget. Be it Republicans OR Democrats, we need some sign that those folks are actually for the people of this country, and not FOR the party they are in. We do not have that. We do not have a Congress that keeps an ear to the ground, and we do not have a congress that sees issues with their behavior, and corrects those behavioral issues. Congress goes out to the Towne Hall Meetings with the correct face on, and when they return to the halls of enormous power, revert to the normal face.
Until the people of this country can discipline Congress at the moment the evil deed (what ever it is) is done, nothing is going to change.
Until we can vote on the profound sociological changes that face this country (illegal aliens? Church interference in political matters), the halls of power will continue pretty much as they have.
