I love the bomber too, and agree that it's a classic. But somehow, the wrap sweater is a show stopper, and I think you could carry it off (like the model does.) However, it might not be warm enough.

i really like the bomber and the blue cable. i dislike crops personally and find they add uneccessary bulk in my midsection. speaking of which, my concern with the bomber is that the pockets on the sides will poof out when the sweater is zipped. but you could just wear open... that's why i went cable cardigan. speakign of molly colors, there is a bright teal color i saw in a soft knit sweater at jcrew. i will try to find for you:)

The bomber may not be a snappy color but it's a classic and will serve you better than the soon-to-be-dated cropped one with the funny neckline. The blue cable is pretty but may look a bit draggy on the body? Anyway, you're trying to buy something different so go for it!
