Not quite an easy pick as MVP, but Marmol was more inconsistent than ever. Not saying I want to dump him, I just hope he bounces back. If we were to dump him, I think that decision would probably come back to haunt us ala Cub closers from the past that we dumped prematurely. Relievers are quirky as a lot and I think the guys that are consistent every year are very rare. Suffice to say that Carlos is not one of them. I think the new GM should definitely hold on to Marshall and Wood as back-ups. I do think that Quade is in a bit over his head and that actually Soriano actually had a pretty good year for him. As long as we're stuck with him for 3 more years (at 18m per), we'd better get used to his production and horrible fielding.
