I usually go down my bookmarked webcomics a few times a week and check them all (rather than try to remember which days each comic updates).

I read the episodic ones everyday through my RSS reader. For the ones where there are story chapters (like Wolves and Men), I let one chapter accumulate in my reader and read it in one session. It reads better, in my opinion (and I feel it was written to be read that way). I find that otherwise I don't remember what happened yesterday, or that the reading is choppy.
