Is 'Once Upon A Time' too dark, too light, or just right?

The show needs to be darkier and edgier! Most fairytales are pretty grim at their core.

The show needs to be lighter and more magical. The more it resembles a Disney movie, the better.

I think it had the right mix of dark themes and light-hearted elements.

Too early to tell which the direction will--or should--head.
