It is really a simple answer! Do you want to win! Something is wrong. We know that! Both sides quit screwing around and sit down and hammer out a deal! Browns fans have seen what he can do and a back like him doesn't come along every day! I would personally want a big bruising running back that can have a good backup come in and spell him every now and then but have his brute strength in the 4th quarter when the defense is worn down and give the ball to him and let him finish them off! If you are behind the defense is worried and you can use him to pound them into submission and then it makes the pass that much easier to be successful! As long as he is in the game they have to respect the running game and cannot completely concentrate on the passing game unless you are already too far behind and then the point is mute! I personally am old school and I know if I am a defensive lineman or a small defensive back I don't want to constantly see him in the backfield knowing he is going to keep coming and coming and then after a game of a punishing runner the pass, which we all know has taken over the game, is much more effective! Just an opinion from a fan who has watched the great runners that punish defenses like Jim Taylor and Larry Czonka that have defenses bruised and sore and worn out by the end of the game! Do I need to say the records of the teams these 2 brusing running backs played on! I am in no way saying any team can run all the time and win but having a physical, punishing running back actually helps the passing game! After a runner like this breaks free a few times and runs over a few defensive backs it takes a toll on them and it only takes one step to beat them on a game winning touchdown when they have been trucked a few times and are sore and realing a little from being hit by a bus like say Jerome Bettis!
