I do not delight in the death penalty, but I do support it. With me, it is not for revenge, but rather to get rid of a problem. The criminal has already proven what they are capable of, and rather than take a chance that another innocent person might lose their life at his/her hand, we just need to get rid of the problem, and they will NEVER do it again. God bless the victims and their families and God have mercy on the one who chose to take their lives.
