I have this hate-love relationship with the necessity of having to restate the same thing on nearly every poll; both the H!P and UFA one...

i love gochiin and miki and "johnson" but i honestly love JunJun she is very beauty and just sweet i love her voice very upbeat!
Most people voting here are new fans, so Koha-pink, Junjun and Miki-sama has more advantage. But looking at the post again, you see that Gomaki is still a massive former members of MM. It's hard to find the 1st gen MM fans now, but you can still find Nono, Miki-sama or Gomaki, etc... fans easily

I agree with just about everything youve said. I've liked every generation of MM (although I'm still kinda ehh about Koharu). The fifth and sixth members are the only ones left that should be able to even give Johnson, Maki or Miki a run for their money and that's only in theory.
I voted for JunJun because she's my favorite out of the choices. I love Mikitty and Kaorin and Gocchin, don't get me wrong, but I just like JunJun more. Yuko and Nacchi are my second and third favorite members of all time too, so it's not like I'm against old school. In fact, I'd choose Mikitty or Yossie over LinLin, and Kaorin or Mari over Koha. It just depends on who I like more as a personality. Now, if it were "who do you think is the most talented member?" it would be a different story.
@Mozenator I did my homework, I know Morning Musume history, but I don't like them enough, Nachi is bland, Mikitty doesn't appeal to me, the same with Johnson... Goto is great but I prefer her alone than when she was on Morning Musume but still not enough, so I just voted for who I liked the most that it resulted to be JunJun :)

^ I discovered H!P in 2007 and at first it was just Buono!. I liked them only because of Shugo Chara so I didn't try to expand. There could be some fans that are in that phase where they only like a specific group or person.
Also could be they tried to learn H!P history and they just don't like it? The music is very different back then compared to today's. Ai-chan even said that the 9th gen members prefer Morning Musume's newer releases than the classics from back then.

I guess I don't understand even if you are new to the H!P fandom, why you wouldn't want to know EVERYTHING about it and learn/digest all the amazing history. I discovered it in 2007 (2005 really but it took me a couple years to get hooked full steam) also and in about two months I knew everything and everyone and every song, concert etc that had happened give or take some of the more rare stuff.
The old school is amazing and I suggest you JunJun and Koha fans do some homework! H!P style!!
Btw just so there is no misunderstanding I LOVE JunJun and Koha, but Mikitty, Gochin and Kaorin are on another level.

That surprises me too. Junjun is probably the most untalented out of these 5 (no offense, I like Junjun). I mean, I'm a newer fan too, but I voted for Kaori. I watched videos from almost every MM era and even though Kaori was first unsypmathic to me, I think that she has this random awesomeness that I can't describe xD

@mozenator: basically. Cause most fans are newer. So they know Koharu and Jun Jun more. I'm the opposite. I knew Maki and Nacchi and Kaori more when I first got into Momusu in 2007
Really? JunJun over Maki Goto AND Mikitty???? Are you all just too young to know about them or something?
