I'm on the fence with Suh. The stomp was classless and out of line. But when he goes on a radio show, does all the right things, and the interviewer just pokes at him, I think he did the right thing by leaving. I would have done the same.

My hope is that he ignores the media, plays clean (but hard) football, and lets his play do the talking from now on.

Suh...simply the best! Glad he cut them fools short!

I think he is one of the best players in the league, and he made one mistake by letting the other team get under his skin. If you watch him every play, teams are ALWAYS grabbing his facemask, cutting his knees, holding, grabbing, late hitting, pile on him, and who knows what else in a pile they do, I absolutely believe they are doing everything they can to get under his skin, annoy, and flat out hurt him. He is young, but as soon as he learns that he can hurt them more by beating them in the game than going after them, he will be unstoppable. I understand his frustration, but he has to know he is getting treated that way because he is already frustrating them.

    Agree with Emmet,

When I saw the hit James Harrison put on the kid McCoy, my first thought was that deserves at least a 2 game suspension, probably more if you account for his past history. That was clearly helmet to helmet on a defenseless player. One game suspension? Makes no sense and as Emmet said the league is ruining their own game.

Suh is a tough, hard nosed player. You didn't see the NFL suspend Dick Butkus or Mike Ditka for playing hard before or after the whistle. You saw personal foul penalties, but not suspensions.

The "real" issue in the NFL/college football is helmet to helmet blows to the head that, ultimately, can kill someone or end their career. Pushing/shoving fights are part of the game in the heat of battle, but blows to the head should be the "main suspension" issue, NOT skirmishes between aggressive men.

The NFL has come up with so many rules... they have ruined the game. This is a perfect case where the NFL has over reacted on one hand and been too lenient regarding the "blows to the head" issue.
